Reliquary theca with relic of St. John the Baptist, the Forerunner of Christ

Oval glass-fronted brass reliquary theca housing a relic of Saint John the Baptist. The relic is mounted on yellow silk ground surrounded by silver wire and paperolle ornamentation and identified in Latin on a manuscript cedula label as S. Jo. Bapt.
