The icon of the Seven Sorrows Mother of God (Melter of Evil Hearts) is depicting Theotokos with seven swords in her breast - three in the left, three in the right, and one below. It is based on the prediction of the aged Saint Simeon (Luke 2:35) that a sword would pierce the soul of Mary. The Feast day is February 2.
