The icon is covered by a fine gilt-silver revetment cover with halos and corners embellished by polychrome enamels. The icon is fully hallmarked with ca. 1908-1917 marks for the city of Moscow and maker's mark СГ (SG) for a famous and prolific Moscow silversmith Semyon Galkin.
