18th-century oval silver crystal-fronted theca housing second class ex Interula (of the inner garment) relic of Saint Philip Neri. The relic is affixed to a background of multicolored silk, surrounded by intricate paperole ornamentation and titled on paper typographic cedula as Ex Interula S. Phil.[ipo] Neri (of the inner garment of Saint Philip Neri). The back of the theca is secured by a perfectly preserved seal of red Spanish wax with a coat of arms of Fr. Silvestro Merani († 1764), Titular Archbishop of Porphyrion (1742 -1764) and Sacristan of the Roman Curia.
