New Arrival
1984 Documented theca with relic of St. Elizabeth of the Trinity (Catez)

Round yellow-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing the first-class de ossibus (of the bone) pre-canonization relic of Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as B. Elisabeth a Trin. (Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity). On the back, behind a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of Order of the Discalced Carmelites of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel. The reliquary is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued by the Postulator General of the Order on 25 November 1984 (the very day of her beatification).

Saint Elizabeth of the Trinity, OCD (born Élisabeth Catez) (†1906), was a French Discalced Carmelite, a mystic, and a spiritual writer. She was known for the depth of her spiritual growth as a Carmelite as well as bleak periods in which her religious calling was perceived to be unsure according to those around her; she was acknowledged for her persistence in pursuing the will of God and in devoting herself to the charism of the Carmelites. Pope John Paul II celebrated her beatification in Paris on 25 November 1984, and Pope Francis canonized her as a saint on 16 October 2016.
