Round white-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca decorated by the cherubs housing the first-class ex ossibus (of the bone) relic of Saint Mutien-Marie Wiaux. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as Ex ossibus S. Muciani Marie Wiaux C. (Of the bone of Saint Mutien-Marie Wiaux, Confessor). On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of The De La Salle Brothers, formally known as the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued in 1989 (the year of his Cannoziation) by the Postulator of the Order responsible for the Cause of Beatification and Canonization.
