Saint Peter of Alcantara, O.F.M. (Spanish: San Pedro de Alcántara) († 1562), was a Spanish Franciscan friar canonized in 1699. He is a holy patron of Brazil, Eucharistic adoration, Estremadura.
Oval crystal-fronted silver reliquary theca housing ex ossibus (of the bone) relic of Saint Peter of Alcantara. The theca is decorated with paperolle ornamentation and the relic is identified on a paper cedula label as S.Petri d Alc. The theca is secured by perfectly preserved seal of red Spanish wax with a clear imprint of a coat of arms of Bishop Nicola Angelo Maria Landini, O.E.S.A. (†1782), Titular Bishop of Porphyreon and the Vicar General of the Vatican Curia.
