1986 Documented reliquary with relics of Theatine Saint Joseph Mary Tomasi, CR, Patron of Catholic liturgy

Round white-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing the first-class ex corpore  (of the body) relic of Saint Joseph Mary Tomasi. The relic isaffixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as S. Ios. M. Tomasi (Saint Joseph Mary Tomasi) On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of The Congregation of Clerics Regular, commonly called the Theatines. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued in 1986 by the Postulator General of the Order responsible for the Cause of Canonization. 

St. Joseph Mary Tomasi CR (Italian: Giuseppe Maria Tomasi di Lampedusa)(†1713) was an Italian Theatine Catholic priest, scholar, reformer, and cardinal whose scholarship was a significant source of the reforms in the liturgy of the Roman Catholic Church during the 20th century. He was beatified by Pope Pius VII in 1803, and was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 1986. His feast day is celebrated on 1 January and he is considered a patron saint of the Catholic liturgy.
