The relic is affixed to a red silk ground decorated by silver wire and paperolle ornamentation and identified in Latin on a manuscript cedula label as S. Vin, Ferre. On the back, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of Fr. Innocenzo Gorgoni, O.S.B. (†1774), Bishop of Penne e Atri, Italy (1746-1755). The relic is accompanied by an original matching authentics document issued and signed in 1753 by Fr. Gorgoni.
