1992 Documented theca with relic of St. Francesco Spinelli founder of the Sisters Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament

Round white-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing the first-class ex corpore (of the body) pre-canonization relic of Saint Francesco Spinelli. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground adjacent to a portrait of the saint and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as ex corpore // B. Franc. Spinolli (of the body of the Blessed Francesco Spinelli). On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Sisters Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament. The reliquary is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued by the Postulator General of the Order on June 21, 1992 (the very day of his beatification).

Saint Francesco Spinelli (†1913) was an Italian Roman Catholic priest and the founder of the Sisters Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament. Spinelli became close contemporaries of Geltrude Comensoli and Luigi Maria Palazzolo and had a previous collaboration with Comensoli in which the two established a religious institute in Bergamo. He was beatified on 21 June 1992 by Pope John Paul II and canonized on 14 October 2018 by Pope Francis.
