Saint Nicola Saggio O.M. (†1709) was an Italian Roman Catholic professed oblate of the Order of Minims, born in 1650 in Longobardi, Italy. He was beatified in 1786 and canonized as a saint of the Roman Catholic Church on 23 November 2014.
18th century oval glass-fronted silver reliquary theca housing second-calss ex tunica (from the shirt ) pre-canonization relic of Saint Nicola Saggio. The relic is affixed to a red silk background, surrounded by golden paperolle and silver cord ornamentation and identified in manuscript cedula label as Ex Tunica / S. Nica Long (Of the shirt of Blessed Nicola of Longobardi). On the back the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax with coat of arms of the Order of Minims.
