Highly unusual collection of female saints, in a large silverplated reliquary theca, sealed, and accompanied by the original authentics document bearing a Papal coat of arms and authorized by Petrus Cardinal Respighi, Priest of the Papal Lateran Basilica and Vicar General to His Holiness the Pope, in Rome, and dated 16 August 1910. The relics are mounted on light gold silk and identified with typographic cedulae. The background is further embellished with floral designs in watercolor. The reliquary itself is large oval silverplated nickel theca, sealed with a single, red Spanish sealing wax seal with the personal arms of Cardinal Respighi.
The saints included in this reliquary are: Saint Francisca of Rome, Vidow [ex Praecordis]; Saint Maria Magdalena de Pazzi, Virgin [ex Vela imbuta sanguine]; Saint Rosa of Viterbo [Velo nigro]; Saints Theresa, Gertrude, Rosalia, Hiacyntha, Virgins [ex Reliquis]; Saint Mary Magdalene, Penitent and Saint Martha, Virgin.
