The relic came in. I wanted to cry. My heart was so overwhelmed with joy. On my 25th anniversary the Discalsed Monastery celebrated mass with me in their cloister. The Mother Prioress with the sisters came be a hard bound copy of his writings and his life. I feel it was the hand of Blessed Francisco was moving them. And with this holy relic he is moving me. I will do a more intensive study of him. I will place his relic in the large reliquary I have with John of the Cross, Teresa of Avila, and Therese of Liseaux. He will be at home.

I received the very beautiful Entombment icon on Good Friday. Our priest carried it in the procession with The Holy Shroud. It was a great blessing and especially to receive it on Good Friday and take to the church in perfect timing. Thank You again and again ?? for the holy icons!!

Small Russian Orthodox brass icon of the Nativity of Christ

The Nativity of Christ depicts the birth of Jesus in a cave. The Mother of God lying on a bed. Her husband Joseph ,is standing next to her, arms held in prayer, while a female servant is bringing her food and drink on a tray. The newborn Christ is held by a midwife named Zelomi, who is preparing to wash him. The star above in the left corner is shining at Jesu,s signifying the Divine will. This particular iconography is of late origin and is heavily influenced by the Western depictions showing a cheerful and intimate aspect of the scene.
