A small rectangular hand-painted double-sided finift porcelain icon depicting St. Venerable Sofia of Syzdal. Some damage on the back side, otherwise good original condition.

Saint Princess Solomonia Saburova (†1542) was the first wife of Grand Prince Vasili III of Muscovy. She was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church as Saint Sofia of Suzdal.
