A small gilt silver cruciform reliquary monstrance decorated with intricate filigee and red garnet stones. A central glass-fronted round cavity is housing particles from the Wood from the True Cross of Jesus Christ. The relics are displayed in a cruciform shape on the ground of red silk and are identified on a typeset cedula label as Vera Crucis DNJ. (The True Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ). On its back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured by an undisturbed seal of red Spanish wax with an imprint of a coat of arms of an unidentified Roman Catholic Bishop. The back of the cap is stamped with 800 silver purity hallmark.
