Russian Icon - the Resurrection of Christ (Feast of Pascha)

This icon depicts the glorious Feast of the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, called Pascha — the greatest feast of the Orthodox Church. In the center, Christ stands triumphant upon His grave, blessing the world with His right hand and holding the victorious Pendant with a Cross in His left. He is reverently flanked by two seated angels. The borders are adorned with tooled floral ornamentation, and the icon is inscribed below in Old Slavonic: “The Resurrection of Christ.”
