1992 Documented reliquary theca with relic of Blessed Ludovica Albertoni

Round glass-fronted yellow-metal reliquary theca housing the second-class ex indumentis (of the clothing) relic of Blessed Ludovica Albertoni. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a manuscript cedula label as Ludovicae Albertoni. (Ludovica Albertoni.). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Minor (commonly known as the Franciscans), The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued in 1992 by the Postulator General of the Order responsible for the cause of beatification and canonization. 

Blessed Ludovica Albertoni (†1533) was a Roman noblewoman who became a widow early in life, joined the Third Order of St. Francis (Secular Franciscans), and dedicated herself to intense prayer, mysticism, and charity, especially aiding the poor in Trastevere. She was beatified by Pope Clement X on January 28, 1671. She is venerated especially in the Diocese of Rome and among Franciscans and Her feast day is January 31.
