1992 Documented reliquary theca with relic of Blessed Andrea Carlo Ferrari, the Archbishop of Milan

Round glass-fronted yellow-metal reliquary theca housing the second-class ex indumentis (of the clothing) relic of Blessed Andrea Carlo Ferrari. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on a typeset cedula label as Ex Indumentis B.A.C. Ferrari (of the clothing of Blessed Andrea Carlo Ferrari). On the back, under the protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Order of Friars Minor (commonly known as the Franciscans), The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued in 1992 by the Postulator General of the Order responsible for the cause of beatification and canonization. 

Blessed Andrea Carlo Ferrari (†1921) was an Italian cardinal and Archbishop of Milan. He served as a seminary professor and rector before becoming Bishop of Guastalla, then Bishop of Como. In 1894, Pope Leo XIII named him Cardinal and Archbishop of Milan, where he promoted catechesis, social justice inspired by Rerum Novarum, pastoral visits, and support for Catholic Action. Known for his holiness amid challenges like accusations of modernism, he was beatified by Pope John Paul II on May 10, 1987. His feast day is February 2.
