1958 Documented reliquary theca with relics of St. Lucy Filippini, founder of the Institute of the Maestre Pie

Round white-metal glass-fronted reliquary theca housing a first-class ex carne  (of the flesh) relic of the St. Lucy Filippini. The relic is affixed to a red silk ground and identified in Latin on typeset cedula label as Ex carne Luciae Virg. (of the flesh of Saint Lucy, Virgin).  On the back, under a protective cap, the theca is secured with a seal of red Spanish wax bearing an imprint of a coat of arms of the Postulator General of a Cause for Canonization. The relic is accompanied by the original matching authentics document issued and sealed in 1958 by the Postulator General

St. Lucy Filippini (†1732), venerated as a Catholic saint, founded the Institute of the Maestre Pie dedicated to the education of young girls. The young ladies were taught domestic arts, weaving, embroidering, reading, and Christian doctrine. She was canonized 22 June 1930 and Her feast day is celebrated on March 25.
