Carmelite crucifix reliquary with relics of the True Cross, Apostles, and important Saints

Wooden cross containing a smaller removable brass cruciform reliquary with relics of the True Cross, Four Apostles and two founders of the Carmelite order.

It contains the following relics:

  • Relics of the True Cross
  • St. Andrew the Apostle
  • St. James the Major, Apostle
  • St. James the Minor, Apostle
  • St. Simon, Apostle
  • St. Theresa of Avila
  • St. John of the Cross

The cruciform theca is secured by intact seal of Fr. Antonio Martini (†1809), Archbishop of Florence (1781-1809).
